Loss is Gain – The Netflix blockbuster series “Stranger Things” features an alternate reality called the Upside-Down. Followers of Jesus are also called to live an alternate reality. Jesus said things like: “Those who humble themselves will be exalted. Those who lose everything for the sake of God’s Kingdom will gain everything. You die in order to live, you empty yourself to get filled up, you’re rich when you give it all away.” It’s an upside-down life, but it’s the best possible life you could ever imagine. ”
